Service Description
In this personalized lesson you'll get hands-on instruction for throwing on the pottery wheel. Never touched clay in your life? Or wanting to dust off your throwing skills from that one college semester? Miller Made Pottery is here for it. Each session is customized to your experience level and needs. You'll be working in Katie's fully stocked home studio - a welcoming and inclusive environment. After a quick demonstration, you will be set up on one of two wheels with all the clay you can throw in an hour! With Katie's experience and warm teaching style, most students make at least 1 piece that's worthy to keep. Students can keep and fire up to 2 pieces included in the price of the class, and can pay extra to fire and glaze additional pieces. Students choose their glaze colors, and completed pieces are typically ready to be picked up within 2-3 weeks of class.
